As the founder of Licitus Group, Doug McCartney has 20+ years of experience leading sales and marketing teams for new and emerging software companies. He has helped launch a dozen plus new products covering a range of market segments and target customers. His expertise is in helping companies introduce new technologies, position them effectively, and to build robust scalable marketing and sales engines. Doug has an affinity for using new technologies (think Salesforce, Pardot, WittyParrot and other CRM/marketing automation tools) as well as personal productivity tools (think MS Office and all things Google). He excels in building teams and identifying new ways to sell and market software to gain market share, increase margins, and create profitable growing companies, many of which he has taken from little or no revenue to significant commercial success, including nearly a half dozen that have been successfully acquired.

Biography: Before Founding the Licitus Group, Doug was at Two Step Software where he headed up both Sales and Marketing. Previous to Two Step Software, he served as Vice President of Business Development of Adaytum Software, as Principal at Pelorus Marketing Group, and  as Vice President of Marketing and International Operations at Pilot Software, Inc.  Doug holds an MBA from Boston College and is a graduate of Colby College.
